- I was acquainted with Britney when I was in high school, but I didn’t talk to her that often, so we stayed acquaintance.
- I believe I know her a lot better than before, but there are still so many things I don’t know about her.
- I want to say no, this is not a way to meet people. Most people meet others by sharing the same physical space. They talk to each other either by coincidence or simply because they’re right next to them — not because they go out of their way to DM them just to become friends. Realistically there isn’t really a good way to make friends during isolation, but people will find a way to cope by chatting with each other in the Zoom meeting.
- I think another good way to meet people is to meet people through the class Discord and through Zoom chat because that’s where most people from the class interacts.
- We used the DM feature on Instagram to message each other. For this use case, I thought it was pretty good because you can share messages, photos, and videos like any other messaging platform.
- Padlet worked well, was fairly easy to use, and is a perfectly decent medium for communication. I believe Trello is a bit better, but its purpose is more for group project purposes.
- Definitely would use Linkedin for a more professional way of communicating with people and still effective because of its ease of access online.
